Tits, Tingles and Tightening

I have no hesitation in saying this first pregnancy has been a breeze for me!

Of course all mommas get symptoms before, during and after pregnancy, some more than others. But I have not yet had the previliage of a huge pregnancy rollercoaster.

I have had nothing go wrong in the past 8-9 months; no pain, no rapid weight gain, and nothing insane happen. Is it possible this could be the perfect pregnancy?

Although nothing has phased me I still take a huge amount of time and effort to contribute advice and support to other mothers who are worried, scared or sometimes clueless.  Feel free to ask questions about my pregnancy and my experiences in the comvments of this post.

Only three things have effected me in this entire journey:

TITS: wow, these things leak more than news about Beyonce’s twins. From sitting to sleeping I am constantly submerged in the colostrum that escapes my nipples. This has been a nightmare due to the fact I am changing my shirts hourly, yet I still shall not give in to the over-priced maternity bras and padded tops which most women call a ‘nesesity’…

TINGLES: I have only endured a couple of evenings where my restless leg syndome has caused me to be at a discomfort. Usually it’s as if one foot is about to tense up until I turn to sleep on my other side, it just feels like a sore knuckle that needs to be cracked. As this is a rare symptom I don’t really notice it until I’m concentrating on baby and body.

TIGHTENING: 34weeks and counting and this annoyance has only just appeared. I have no idea if it’s Brixton hicks or just baby sitting in an unusual position, definitely not relatable to period pains or cramps. My belly button and the area surrounding it just feels stretched as if I am wearing a super tight shirt or I’ve eaten too much at one meal. I have yet to discuss this with my midwife in my upcoming appointment so I will keep you posted.

I believe I am just one of those lucky women who seem to glow during their pregnancy. However, even though I have had it easy, it doesn’t make me less impatient to see my wonderful daughter-to-be!
